Dr. Nikolaos Papanas is Associate Professor in Internal Medicine-Diabetes Mellitus at Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. He has been specialized in diabetes and its complications in the Diabetes Center and the Diabetic Foot Clinic at King’s College Hospital, London, UK, as well as in the German Diabetes Center at the Heinrich Heine University, Dusseldorf, Germany. He has established an ongoing collaboration with the neuropathy study group of the German Diabetes Center in Dusseldorf. He has published more than 255 papers in peer-reviewed journals with more than 3200 citations. He serves in the editorial board of more than 60 international journals.

His research interests include: Medical writing, Vascular disease and Metabolic syndrome

Soldano Ferrone received his MD and PhD degrees in 1964 and in 1971, respectively, from the University of Milan, Milan, Italy. He has held faculty positions at the University of Milan, Milan, Italy, Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation, La Jolla, CA, Columbia University, New York, NY, New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY and at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Pittsburgh, PA. Since 2012 he is a faculty member of the Department of Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. Dr. Ferrone has received many awards and honors. For the last 30 years he has been the member of many review committees including NIH Study Sections, and of the editorial boards of many scientific journals. Furthermore he is the member of several external scientific boards.

Dr. Ferrone’s research program focuses on the molecular characterization of escape mechanism(s) utilized by tumor cells to avoid immune recognition and destruction and on the development of combinatorial immunotherapeutic strategies to counteract the escape mechanism(s) utilized by tumor cells. These studies are greatly facilitated by the large panel of HLA antigen- and human tumor antigen-specific monoclonal antibodies he has developed and shared with the scientific community over the years.

Dr. Iwona Rybakowska is currently working as acting head of Department of Biochemistry and Clinical Physiology, Medical University of Gdansk, Debinki 1, 80-211 Gdansk, Poland. She won first degree team prize Chancellor of Medical University of Gdansk for findings-AMP-deaminase as potential target of pharmacological influence in therapy heart failure, and also for AMP-deaminase in health and pathological changing human liver. In 2011 year - first degree team prize Chancellor of Medical University of Gdansk for - Findings over metabolic processes in human placenta. Her research interests are metabolism of nucleotides, heart metabolism, and biochemistry.

Dr. Ayella began teaching for McPherson College in 2007 after spending five years as a Graduate Student Researcher at Kansas State University. Dr. Ayella currently teaches courses in Biochemistry, Biology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Cell and Molecular Biology, and Nutrition. Dr. Ayella is also involved in student and professional scholarly research opportunities. Dr. Ayella is also a Rotarian and serves as an advisor to the McPherson College Rotaract Club. Dr. Ayella is also involved in Service-Learning and was named the 2012-2013 Kansas Compact Fellow. Dr. Ayella continues to serve the college in different campus-wide committees.

Physical well-being.Aromatherapy is not a new trend or practice by any stretch and in fact can be traced back 6,000 years ago in these parts. The ancient Greeks, Romans and Egyptians were all known to have used aromatic oils. The name aromatherapy in the modern era first came about in 1937 when French chemist Rene Maurice Gattefosse named the practice of using plant oils for treatment purposes. But in Turkey, the practice of using plants and their special properties for treating ailments has survived countless generations.

He has supervised more than 70 students for Ph.D. He is founder director of World Researchers Associations and editor in chief of “Research Journal of Biotechnology.” He has published more than 35 papers in reputed journals
